A mixture of fact and fiction and, in some cases, a combination of both – this anthology comprises works of pure fact, works of fiction, and works that are inspired by real events but move into the realms of imagination.

It was not until several years into retirement that I began to write, and several more years passed before I pursued the idea of writing fiction. This collection of short stories may appear as a hotchpotch but it is an illustration of my transition as an author, from autobiography to creativity.
